The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the freestanding bell tower of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. Constructed in stages beginning in 1174, it started to lean when the third of its eight stories was built. It still stands today and is one of the most famous structures in Italy.

And yes....my husband has seen him before....not recently... but riding on the streets of Memphis on a motorcycle in the late 1950's!

The Original Toll House Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Toll House Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Pros: This ice cream is a gentle reminder of days gone by for me. I bought it for my 3 1/2 yr. old granddaughter as a "You are special to me" because it is her NEVER fail love, love, love combination on a cone. Well even tho I LOVE Old World's Ornaments- I was NOT expecting the SUPERB coloring and craftsmanship that I unwrapped!! This pic is wonderful. Waaayy better than any other site would do and Ive looked! But folks- you have to SEE this in person to believe it! I SO WISH there were other combos in this cone because I would buy EVERY ONE! I really don't know how I am going to bring myself to put this away until next year and I might very well not! Trust me, its THAT GORGEOUS!
