Cantaloupe - New for 2010

Cantaloupe sliced in half with seeds showing. Ornament made of mouth blown,  hand painted glass. Measures approximately 3 1/4"

The Cantaloupe melon gets it name from the Italian village of Cantalup,  Italy, where it was first cultivated. Brought to North America by Christopher  Columbus in 1494. Cantaloupes are the most popular melons in the United States  now due to their refreshing flavor, juicy texture and sweet aroma.

New fruits and veggies include two types of squash, broccoli, and a bunch  carrots. See the Old World Christmas section to see them all!
